She never wanted to be anything different. Until Nyx fell into her life. Now, faced with having to leave Nyx forever, Estelle doesn't know how to say goodbye. She doesn't know how to go back to the way things were before, before the son of the Night Court crash-landed into her kingdom and somehow stole her heart without ever trying. She isn't sure she wants to. Nyx and Estelle are faced with an impossible scenario, one where no one can possibly come out the other side unscathed. But they took this leap of faith together. It seems only fitting that they land together, too. No matter what may await them when they reach the end. (This is set after the events of ACOSF and Kingdom of Ash! It's also set after my own fanfiction series, Cursebreaker and Fireheart, taking place after the third sequel, Son of Night and Daughter of Stars. {THRONE OF GLASS FANFIC} ~If the characters from Sarah J Maas' novel "Throne of Glass" lived in our world and went to high school~ Celaena Sardothien is sixteen years-old. Her parents were murdered in front of her when she was only eight. Since then, she has never been back to school. Never attended a sleepover. Never eaten a school lunch. No, she hasn't done most of the things normal teenage girls have, because since the age of eight, she has been molded into one of the deadliest assassins the world has ever known. Raised and trained by the most infamous assassin in the world, Celaena has been sent on missions to kill high-ranking politicians, hierarchs, celebrities, and now a princess. Celaena has been assigned the task of killing the next heir of the minuscule island country, Eyllwe. The princess has been sent to a small American town to avoid another attempt on her life. As Celaena goes undercover to execute her mission, complications will arise as she discovers there may be more to life than killing.

Short story set after Kingdom of Ash. Written in a less formal manner than Sarah J Maas's original series, but it is a realistic adaptation of what could happen post-ToG. Rowaelin mostly, Aelin PTSD. Warning, spoilers. Mild content.
