''Sanyukta, tumne dusri shadi nahi ki?'' asked Randhir to sanyukta who was kneading the dough. She stopped suddenly. Randhir was closely watching her changing expressions from holding her tears back to becoming normal in a minute. She was somewhere near 40 and half of her hair had almost turned white already.

Randhir Singh Shekhawat had everything that a man would want and envy off. He was a self-sufficient man and built his own empire with loads of hard work solely. But, something he lacked was love and concern from family, from his father and stepmother. She wasn't cruel or cunning but she wasn't his mother. But, he gets fixed to marry to his sister-in-law's sister. The wedding day arrives but the bride refuses to marry him resulting in her cousin to become his bride, his replaced bride. Sanyukta Agarwal is a woman of selflessness. She dreamt many things, but they remained dreams itself. Within, this boundary she had her life sorted in a very beautiful way. But, somewhere she was content with this life of hers, she felt happy in them. She arrives in a new place with her father to attend her cousin's marriage.
