Beyond life...

A girl was young and did many dumb things. One day she tried to end her life because she was tired of all of this. She met a boy who made her happy and she developed feelings for him but she found out he had a lover. She tried to stay strong but her will power was weak so her friend who was like an older brother to her help her and was there for her. She decided to give life one last try. (Read to find out how it ends)

This story describes a little girls life. In the beginning her parents weren't very wealthy but after her dad married a woman they became king and queen and Lily became a princess. After that she got older and married a Prince She lived happier after.

The desire to break the shell and begin to experience new sensations makes her find in Paul, her neighbor and fellow club member a refuge to their internal storms. This poem is metaphorically comparing a winter experience to a person who has fallen into depression, causing feelings of despair, loneliness, and numb/emptiness to be brought upon them. This poem goes along with the same but different comparison as my poem, "Autumn's Breeze", as both are using metaphors for mental health using the seasons.

"WHAT DID I DO TO YOU?", Hudson says loud enough for the neighbors to hear. "You did everything, you ruined my life while I waited patiently for you...", I reply while holding in my tears.
