Steve's made up his mind. He chose to live his life like it should've been (which was a stupid choice). Not only has he passed his shield and the title of captain to Sam, but also his life long best friend Bucky. Sam and Bucky have always had a rocky relationship ever since SHIELD was compromised. Sam tries his best to cooperate with him, but Bucky always ends up shutting him out for unexplained reasons. Marking Bucky down as hopeless, Sam decides to go at it alone. Little does he know that that's not an option.

Sam laughed softly, the sound was still as beautiful as the first time Bucky had heard it. "We aren't very good at hating each other," Bucky mumbled, mostly to himself. "No," Sam kept his eyes down but smiled. "No, we aren't."
