Ready to quit show choir out of hate, Faith Hudson found solace with McKinley High's New Directions. Rachel Berry and Jesse St. James moved from New York to Lima, Ohio in order to start off fresh with their daughter, Mary Jane, or simply "MJ" Berry-James. As a freshman at her new school, MJ met new people and friends who welcomed her into the halls of William McKinley High. MJ loves to sing and used to be part of a show choir in New York until she moved to Lima and joined the New Directions to follow in her mother's footsteps of becoming a member there.
