So when MK became the Monkey King's successor, she felt like she was left behind.. in his shadow. That is until one day she sat in on a Shadow Play and learned something that changed how she perceived the story entirely. She learned of the Hero and the Warrior, something she relates to in the story. So when she meets the Warrior of the story and learns she has his powers and realizes that her story is just beginning. Although MK will still have his memories from the events of s3, the others, including Wukong won't remember what happened. MK will also need to keep the fact that he went back in time from Wukong, since he's worried about the fact Wukong will make things worse just like last time. He will tell his friends about it, but they had to keep it a secret from Wukong. And as for how MK went back in time, he gets help from 4 certain "passed away" friends of the monkey king. Some events might change and the trust between master and student might break
