Like Takemichi, Sanzu goes back to the past. However instead of being a time traveler he died and got placed back into his past body, he retained his memories from the future, in which he was number 2 in Bonten; a criminal organization. He goes back to before the August 3rd battle, when Draken gets stabbed. Now he has his memories from Bonten, and every single other event that would transpire within the next couple of years. Deciding to give Mikey, the person he would die for, a chance to live a fulfilled life and giving him happiness, he vows to himself that he would help change the future. But that includes not mentioning the fact he came back into the past with anyone, knowing how badly everything will happen and the dark, criminal path; Manjiro Sano will end up on, Sanzu tries to fix everything.
