What if Gojo had gotten to Geto before Yuki?

He vanished for months without a word. She thought she'd never see him again. Kokichi Muta returns, but distant, cold and untouchable. Behind the silence, though, he's writing songs about her, pouring everything he can't say into melodies she doesn't know belong to her. Unaware of his identity, they begin talking anonymously through a school app, and every word draws her closer. But every time she tries to reach him in person, he pushes her away, walls up like sheet music she can't read. With every secret, every anonymous message, and every word he refuses to say, she's learning that loving him might be the hardest verse to understand. What if Riko Amanai never died? What if Yuki Tsukumo never approached Suguru Geto? What if... Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo never split ways? What if Suguru Geto didn't die? What would've become of them? Their future? Well.. that's what I'm here to tell you.

To describe a story of tragedy, one would try and appreciate the happiness before the inevitable downfall that arrives with the end, but the eventual catastrophe of both Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto has not enough time to fully unfold their happiness within. Their misfortune was one of which destined from the start. As to the cruel consequence of life itself, they're minds were played and manipulated into believing that they were destined to be nothing but friends till eternity fell, but as fate and belief intertwine, one ultimately overpowers the other. To describe THE story of tragedy, one would attempt to appreciate the happiness life can bring to man, but not this time.

This is a one-shot story based off of a Mermaid AU idea created with my friend. If it gets enough attention, I will make it into a full story. But for now, enjoy~! cover art credits to; kadeart on twitter!

satosugu angst/ fluff i'm listening to music that is really heartbreaking and it inspired me to write a satosugu fic.. even though i have 10 unfinished ones already, this was originally going to be a one shot but i got really immersed writing it so now it's a fic,,, hope u enjoy!!
