In a dystopian future, pockets of human society remain after the Great Reset. The mysterious release of genetically engineered super-beings had destroyed modern-day society to avoid climate catastrophe... Now centuries later, rumours remain that the super-being army still lives hidden among us to keep a back-dated human society in check. Runaway Bunny is unexpectantly rescued by a mysterious figure who claims to be a descendent of one super-being type. And that she is too! Bunny feels an unexplained attraction towards this aloof stranger. She agrees to help him locate unstable earth energy centres that could cumulatively lead to earth's destruction. Their DNA is designed to locate and stablise them, but they are unsure how except through clues in a book, left behind by their descendants. And the sleepy town that they travel to near the first energy centre is not what it appears...

'ARE YOU LISTENING?' This is an ecological message carried in the form of an #acrostic poem, a #poetic story if you like. The title came by accident a typo when chatting on #WattPadd with one of my many #PoetsPub friends some months ago, it was my intention dedicate it to her, but my aging memory is a neurological (an ecological) disaster and in its wasteland, sadly her name can't be found. So if you find yourself reading this, please remind me and I'll correct the error of my ways. But, more importantly, it is a reminder to the human race, to you, to heed the obvious warnings of this planets impending fate, no don't turn a blind eye because it's not in your field of view. Its the primary focus of the prevalent ecological issue contained in the #NationalGeographic challenge #PlanetOrPlastic to communicate the effects of plastic waste, upon our seas and oceans. However, this message cuts across a number of issues like inane #Politics, #Global warming, #Acid #Rain, #Fracking and #Nuclear #Waste, each of which is equally damning, with its own primary focus '#SavethePlanet'. 'ARE YOU LISTENING?'

Hello everybody! This is my entry for National Geographics writing contest: Planet or Plastic. The contest focusses on the devastating impact of single-use plastics - a subject which I personally feel very strongly about. Plastic pollution is a global issue and I believe that we all have a responsibility to change our ways and save the oceans before it is too late. Our choices matter and together we CAN make a difference. But we have to act now! ..... If you are interested in entering the contest, there is still time. Go to National Geographics page and read the rules and guidelines for the contest. Deadline for entering is December 30th. Good Luck to everyone who enters. Our voices will be heard!

What does it mean to be "somebody" in a world that often demands we stay quiet? The Quiet Battle is an evocative collection of verses exploring the friction between the polished surfaces of society and the raw, untamed essence of the human spirit. From the "man-made" pressure to look perfect to the desperate need to protect our wilting planet , these poems serve as a mirror to our collective conscience. Whether observing life through a rain-stained window or fighting for the freedom to simply be, I attempt to capture the beauty of the mundane and the urgency of change.
