At fifteen, he defended a girl from a bully; the fight ended with the boy's death, ruled self-defense. The event marked him, though he never spoke of it. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, excelling under structure and pressure. Later, he joined Army Special Forces, earned a Green Beret, and was recruited into Delta Force, where his precision and observation earned him the callsign "Crow." While on leave in Woodsboro, he met Kirby Reed at a bookstore. Despite their opposite personalities-her energetic, him calm-they balanced each other and married in 2017. Protective yet reserved, he saved her contact as "Horror Movie Crackhead." When the Ghostface killings resumed, Declan was home on leave. While others panicked, he saw a predator-and spent his life prepared to deal with exactly that.

In a world full of horror, the biggest horrors live together in the state of New Jersey on a residence known as Camp Crystal Lake. They attempt to live somewhat normal lives by taking up normal jobs that need doing around the campsite however not everything can be so normal when you kill people for a living. But what if these disturbances that get in the way of these killers living normal lives happen to be children-children seeking a place to stay for the summer away from all of the evil chasing them out of hiding. Are they really that cold-hearted?
