Leonie is dead, but she isn't gone yet... ___ There are two beginnings to this story. With one comes the promise of dust and ashes, of flickering flames and tendrils of smoke reaching up to the heavens. The other brings with it an ordinary sidewalk and two ordinary girls, playing in the sun and bonding over beetles. These two tales are connected, a string of manipulations and choices that lead to one girl trapped behind a glass window as fire licks at her feet and another girl hidden away in her own churning, broken mind. It leads to betrayals. It leads to bonds so strong they'll never break. And Death. Everything leads to Death in the end... ___ When thirteen-year-old Maia Owens retreats to her room, refusing to speak with anyone but her best friend, Leonie, there's certainly cause for concern. But when you add in the fact that fact that Leonie is dead - and has been for two weeks - it sparks something terrifying. Maia's parents are convinced that Leonie is a hallucination conjured by grief. Maia is equally sure that Leonie has come back from the grave to give her a second chance. But why would she need that chance? And what really happened the day of the fire that took Leonie's life? As the weeks pass and Leonie doesn't go away, Maia becomes certain that Leonie wants something from her, and she's desperate to deliver. But reality is not always what it seems, and as facts and falsehoods begin to blur, the truth becomes harder and harder to grasp. Time is ticking. Maia is losing herself. And one among them can't accept that it's too late to change the past. Cover credits go to @DaneAndKnight and @TheMythicalCommunity ** updated once a week

Resonance of Being: A Journey Within" Gently..... I tried to arise to seek my true-self... Entwined in the shackles of conventional echoes of 'shoulds' and 'musts'... Withheld by norms of rights and wrongs.... Pulled back by protocols of this isn't and that is nots.. In the depths of silence, tried to paint screams on the canvas of solitude, before they could echo....messed by the brush of judgments.... An introverted soul yearned to break the silence, yet each attempt to vocalize trampled by the weight of judgments and societal scrutiny. Amidst the labyrinth of conflicts, anxiety, and depression, the flames of inner turmoil blazed higher fueling self-doubt and low esteem. Though continued to stifled within the stigmas of 'good for nothing,' 'clogged head' and what nots ..... Yet the journey to speak out became a silent battle against the echoes of "so called societal contractors".... Bled in silence, proud to own scars...Impalpable in self discovery..... I rose to.... ...BEING ME ONLY...

The Visaar is a secret institution near the U.S.-Canada border where people come from around the world to study the art of magic (yes, legit magic). In 1720, a stubborn, headstrong teenager named Hannah Rothschild runs away from her Puritan home in search of adventure. A girl with red hair comes to her through a purple portal and tells her she is the first of the four Cosmic Strings and is given a perfume bottle to control time. This spirals a search by the Visaar to find the other three Cosmic Strings. In 2019, a chill, carefree teenager named Demi Swann attends the Visaar as per her family tradition. She isn't interested in magic until she discovers a bottle of perfume and sprays it. From the mist, she sees a purple circle, and inside the circle a girl whom she was told was the first of the four Cosmic Strings. The two girls' stories both parallel and interconnect with each other. Each chapter is labeled with the name of the girl narrating it, so you can either alternate between the girls' stories or read one and then the other.
