Jace's departure with Valentine creates upheaval in The Institute; the arrival of Victor Aldertree hampers Alec, Isabelle,Clary and Cassie's plan to rescue Jace; Jocelyn, now awake, tries to catch up on events. Clary returns to the Institute after she receives a text message from Isabelle "Izzy" Lightwood, saying that Jace had angered the Inquisitor and has been imprisoned in the Silent City awaiting trial by the Sword to determine if he is telling the truth about whether he is in league with Valentine. While sitting in his cell, chained to the bars, Jace hears something attacking the Silent Brothers and soon discovers that Valentine has come and killed the Silent Brothers to obtain the second Mortal Instrument - the Mortal Sword. Cassie,Clary, Izzy, and Alec respond to a distress call from the Silent City, only to discover that the Silent Brothers have all been slain. Clary and Cassie free Jace using an amplified version of the opening rune that appeared to her amidst her panic. The Inquisitor appears, along with a large group of armed Shadowhunters, and accuses Jace of helping Valentine, since he was supposed to go on trial by the Sword which is now gone. Magnus Bane is called to the scene by Alec, and offers to keep Jace as a prisoner in his apartment, while he and the others try to figure out Valentine's plans. Jace soon receives a surprising offer from the Queen of the Seelie to visit her court. Jace goes with Cassie,Simon, Izzy and Clary. The group tries to convince the Queen to aid them in the defeat of Valentine. The Queen says she is not sure if she will help and also mentions how their court knows deep secrets, like how Jace and Clary are their father's "wonderful" experiments come to life. The group becomes confused and decides to leave. And There are two new characters Sean and Maia Will Sean fall in love with Cassie??Or Alec??? Is sizzy happening or Saia??

This story is based in New York, around five years after Queen of Air and Darkness. With a few differences, Jace and Clary have twins and adopted Kit and Ash. The story is about Clary opening a school for shadowhunters and downworlders. The academy is a memorial for all the people she lost and will cherish forever. It will have aspects of the Movie, Show, and books. Also in here it will follow the Blackthorn's and Jace and Clary's wedding. and Rafael Santiago and Jordan Kyle are still alive. Magnus and Alec adopt Madzie and Raf. Max is still dead though the book will point out a tiny romance between Max and Dru before he died and studied at the LA Institute.

This is a 'Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments' Fanfiction...During Season Two because I think that it's the best one so far (haven't gotten to season three so far, but I'm close). Clary and Simon were having a nice time enjoying themselves, but then a series of screeches, a portal opening in the middle of the institution, and a creature that they have never seen before messes all of that up. Then they start to ask questions, and strange things start to happen. Unconscious and badly hurt they bring the creatureback to the Institution, and begin to try and find-out what it is, but it's going to be a-lot harder than what they think it's going to be. As an ancient creature, something like it hasn't been discovered in many, many thousands of years, and still it is older than that.
