This isn't a romance story, but it isn't entirely non-romantic either. This is a story about teenagers with flaws and who are learning about life. There's no villain and there's no hero.

Why I Wrote This? I didn't write this to be a book. I wrote it because I couldn't bring myself to say it out loud - especially to my mom. There were things I needed to let out, memories I had to walk through, and feelings I didn't know how to explain with words. So I started writing. Most of what I shared here are the harder parts of growing up - the bullying, the loneliness, the loss of my dad. But that's not the whole story. There were happy moments too, and the reason I could get through the bad ones was because I had a place to come back to. A home. A mom who's always been there. A dad who taught me so much before he left. Now, I have real friends. I laugh more. I feel like I belong. I'm discovering new things and I'm truly happy with where I am. But none of that would've been possible if I didn't have that safe place to return to - the house I grew up in, the people who raised me. I also wrote this for anyone who might be going through something similar. If you feel alone, or like you don't fit in, or if you've lost someone important - I hope this helps. Even just a little. This separate entry exists for the purpose of the story's re-write (to fix typos, correct spelling, make names more consistent, etc), but also to preserve the comments from the older entry, and for the purpose of chapter consolidation (Wattpad has a limit of 200, and the main entry is already at 146). All chapters in the older entry will be in this entry in the form of "Volumes" that contain multiple chapters in one larger "chapter" (these chapters will still exist in the volumes of this entry). These newer, longer chapters improve immersion, descriptions, and character dialog/motives, they DO NOT add any new events or lore.
