Sasha and Varick exist in a world that runs completely on points. The point levels determine all aspects of life, from a person's standing in the Society to the type of career one can expect to have. She refuses to conform to the expectations of the Society, therefore risking her future to follow in her hero's footsteps. Varick is a member of the High Society, and the son of the premier point deductor. She meets Varick and, during a moment of temptation, strikes a deal that will give her immunity from any point deductions in return for teaching him how to rebel. They must navigate this difficult world together in order to avenge a friend and to find a lost hero, while overcoming the weaknesses their world has instilled in them. The team introduces chaos to the ordered world, but a betrayal causes Sasha to pay the price. Will Sasha survive as one of the pointless? Book 1 of 3 in the Points Trilogy by Avery Mark

Since drabbles are a popular form, I'm making a place to store mine. I'm changing this to op ed pieces in 100 words. Occasionally (like the first part), some fiction will leak in. But I'll quarantine it with quotes and some non-fiction words around it.

This book is about how witches, demons, vampires, elves, etc. live among society but their life is no where near normal. The main character is a teenage boy named Apollo who's parents broke the rule of the guild, so he's part witch part demon. Because his mom is a witch they have this tradition where once a kid turns 16 they leave home to test the skills that they've learned, and ends up far far away from home which ends up getting him into some events maybe he shouldn't have. Inspired by: The Discovery of Witches (fabulous tv show) His Dark Materials And Kiki's Delivery Service Hope you enjoy my book!

I graduated in 2012 with a Master of Fine Arts for Writing for Children from Hamline University, where I got to work with folks like Gary Schmidt, Mary Logue, Laura Ruby, Anne Ursu, Swati Avasthi, and Gene Luen Yang, and wrote two books while I was there (technically three), and it was the greatest thing ever for a writer. Are you serious about writing? Well duh, of course you are, you're posting chapters on Wattpad like crazy, and when people talk to you, they catch you in the middle of a paragraph and then they wonder why you're grumpy while you're like DUDE I AM TRYING TO WRITE THIS SCENE. Well, this is my scattershot series of little writing helpful things. (This basically means that I'm racing into this Wattpad book with my eyes shut and actually don't know where I'm starting because the thought of starting is freaking me out as usual, BUT once I get started on this thing I'll be fine.) I'll talk about things that have helped me as a writer -- I don't call 'em rules but suggestions. I'll give you some writing exercises to try for fun. I'll give you writing stuff that the folks at Hamline taught me at the MFA workshops. I'll give you beginner writer stuff and I'll give you advanced writer stuff and wrap it in a big writerly ball. And I'll make it fun. No use in being boring, I mean seriously. And if you have a topic you want me to cover, let me know and I'll cover it for you.

From the first read to detailed notes, creative suggestions, and structural feedback - I reveal everything that happens when I put on my beta reader hat. You'll discover the challenges, the joys, and the meticulous attention I give to plot twists, character arcs, pacing, and much more. This is more than just feedback - it's a partnership between reader and writer, and I'm here to tell you how it all works, step by step. If you're curious about the craft of beta reading or want to see how your story could be transformed through thoughtful, in-depth critique, this book is for you. Come along as I share the stories behind the stories - the real work that goes into making great books even better.

Yeah so, I don't really understand the word LOVE (granted, l know how to say it in 5 languages...). So, I've decided to do 101 days straight of asking myself questions about LOVE. It's nothing immodest, I just want to know more about what LOVE IS (Besides a noun and verb) Disclaimer: most of the sources I'll use are references from all the fandoms that I've hooked onto over the years (and the odd internet search!), if you haven't already been ensnared by these fandoms, there will be spoilers. 1. Gakuen Alice (or just anime in general) 2. Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chatnoir 3. Greek mythology 4. The Dragon Prince 5. Jelsa 6. Internet 7. Pinterest 8. The Bible 20/03/2021 Edit : sigh, you'd think that lockdown would give you more time for this... Welp, I'm in my GCSE years, so keeping up with this will probably only be possible on Sundays for now... If I remember...
