In an alternate conclusion to The Dark Knight Rises, Bruce Wayne survives the nuclear blast but instead of returning to Selina Kyle, he makes a choice to vanish completely. He believes his disappearance will protect Selina Kyle from Bane's vengeful followers. Years later, a bitter Selina, still operating as Catwoman, is cornered during a jewel heist in a rainy warehouse. In her moment of crisis, Batman reappears, saving her. Stunned and emotionally overwhelmed, Selina flees with the jewel. Minutes later, Bruce finds her at her apartment, leading to a deep, emotional confrontation. Selina expresses her anger and feelings of abandonment, while Bruce explains his motive was solely to keep her safe. The raw honesty leads to a truce, and she lets him stay the night. In the weeks that follow, they navigate their complicated past. Through shared moments and vulnerability, old wounds heal and their buried feelings resurface, stronger than before. They slowly fall in love again, choosing to build a future together that they once thought was lost.

He is not a man you approach to make friends with, he is not a man willing to willingly hang out with people, and he is not a man of idle conversation. He doesn't have the time to talk and make friends, after all he is Robin, one of the protectors of Gotham, and a trained assassin. Although, with his families growing concerns on his lack of friends he is forced out of the mantle of Robin. Now he has to make a ' change' he has to make a ' friend' and when a blue-eyed girl- who seems to have no problem making friend's- come into his life he decides that she will be his friend as she seem's to be the only one adequate enough.
