Also, Blaise Zabini started all of this, Theo Nott is being hunted by Luna Lovegood, Mattheo Riddle has found himself fake-dating Hermione Granger, and Enzo Berkshire might be engaged to a ghost. This shouldn't be happening. This shouldn't be Draco's life. And yet... Hogwarts might not survive, but Draco Malfoy sure as hell won't either.

Once out of town I started my victory speech. "Oh my goodness I can't believe that just happened." A low groan from my pack made me quickly unzip it and Stupid sprang out and tore around the car. I made a grab for the panic stricken cat and set her in my lap stroking her head. Eventually her panting stopped and turned to a purr of comfort. I smiled down at her again relishing how I had saved us both. I barely had time to notice the man dart across the road and into my headlights. "Oh Shit!", I gasped and pressed my foot to the brakes quickly. I didn't run him over but I did hit him with a satisfying thump then fell to the ground in front of my hood out of sight and probably unconscious. I looked from Stupid to the the hood of my car multiple times before letting out another sigh. "This is worse than the bathroom." I muttered and felt like Stupid definitely agreed with me.
