Akasha Blaise Arellano and Raegan South Angeles are two STEM students known for competing in almost everything - academics, sports, leadership, and even the smallest arguments. To everyone around them, they are nothing more than rivals constantly trying to outdo one another. Kash is sharp-tongued and independent, while South is disciplined, composed, and impossible to read. The tension between them became something so normal that people stopped questioning it.
But behind all the pressure, responsibilities, and exhausting expectations placed on them, both of them unknowingly found comfort somewhere else - in late-night games, random conversations, and a person they could talk to without needing to pretend to be strong all the time.
What happens when the person who understands you the most is also the same person you can barely stand in real life?
As lines between rivalry and attachment slowly begin to blur, Kash and South find themselves trapped between pride, confusion, and emotions neither of them knows how to explain. And sometimes, the people we keep challenging the most are the same people we slowly start finding home in.
