It's been almost 10 years when Hermione left Hogwarts , no one has seen and heard from her except from a letter which she left telling everyone that she wanted to leave for a few years because the War was too traumatizing for her. Fear. That's all. People all over the world were living their life in constant fear. Ever since Lord Voldemort succeeded in killing Harry Potter in 1998 the world was a complete mess. People were killed randomly, wizards and muggles alike. The world had nothing of its former beauty. The flowers were not blooming, the trees were all dead. Whole cities were nothing more than ruins and smoke. The sky was always the same colour, no one could tell whether it was day or night by looking at the solid black mass above their heads. In the midst of that, there was a small group who fought against Voldemort. They still tried to find a way to kill The Dark Lord and return life to this planet. A small group of people, who managed to survive the battle of Hogwarts were hiding in their hidden headquarters making plans. All they had were the few selected members of what formerly was the Order of the Phoenix and a flicker of hope, no matter how small it was. Even after 3 years, they had that little spark that kept them going.

Not all is as it seems when Hermione Granger returns to Hogwarts and starts her new position as potions assistant to the infamous Severus Snape... Not only does Hermione now have to prove to Professor Snape that she is qualified for the position, but she also has to workout why she keeps on defending him and why he intrigues her so much... And above all else work out what on earth is up with Harry!??! Yep there's quite a bit of mystery in this along with a fair amount of discovery as well hopefully. I'm planning on messing with the geography of Hogwarts to some degree (nothing major) and adding a few of my own ideas about things in along the way! SS/HG Just a little fanfic which I thought up one night. Not sure how many chapters it'll have but hopefully about 15 + I'm not sure...
