Soon, Dahlia finds herself surrounded by snakes on all sides. Will she be able to achieve her mission and make it back home to the fangs, the gang of girls she now feels responsible for? Or will she fall prey to a pair of rather dazzling stormy grey eyes?

The story follows a girl by the name Ember Tonovački, who has to run away from her home after the people in her village figure out that she has special abilities. While running from them, the so-called shadow summoner not only helps her hide from the villagers but also helps her find out who, or better said WHAT she is. ------------------------------------------------------- The story is happening after the first season of Shadow and bone. I don't own any characters except Ember and her family.

Hello! This is just two of my little fanfic scenes for Kanej (SOC). This is my first fanfic, so please be kind if you're reading this now.

Serina, an Inferni from the Wandering Isle spent her childhood in hiding with her mother, afraid of the threat against her kind and the inability to control her own small science. When her mother dies, she is forced to relocate to Ketterdam to live with her father, Pekka Rollins. Still hiding her Inferni origin and trying to survive under the watch of Pekka, she finds herself in trouble at every turn. Until she's found by the leader of a little gang in the Barrel. Now, she's a member of the dregs, but she must keep her father's identity a secret, or Kaz Brekker may destroy her.

There is no place for us. I have learned that a while ago. Not here at least, not now and not surrounded by these people. Ignorance is bliss. While that may be true when concerning yourself, to have an ignorant nation is to have no nation at all. That is why I have never stayed still.
