Short poem! If your holding on to something and have never told anyone because it causes you great pain to even think about. If you've done something you consider horrible and people have offered forgiveness & understanding but you can't do the same for yourself. If you carry shame, guilt, and an internalized hatred for yourself. I hope this poem makes you feel seen<3 And helps you realize you have the power to make that change❤️

I look at other things people have gone through and I often wonder if I even have a right to feel the way I do. I deserve to be treated well. I deserve to be accepted. However, part of me falters. Part of me believes differently. These words are written for people who share similar feelings. I hope you find comfort in that you are not alone. Sending my best. - V

#Yatiz is a story focusing on the lives of young people in a small seaside municipality called Carmen in the southern part of the Philippines. The name is based on a cuss word here, "Yati/Yatis" that has no English equivalent but is closest to WTF. It will be focusing on themes of slut-shaming, sexuality, family pressure, grades, identity, colorism, cyber-bullying, toxic masculinity, peer pressure and many more issues prevalent among the youth of the Philippines.

All things taken together, Anya considered herself an expert at managing her asthma. Which makes this stupid slip-up all the more embarrassing. (Or: Anya has an asthma flare-up. Damian is there, but all she wants is to be alone. Doesn't she?)

I chuckle, "I know I'm a failure in your eyes" I was too embarrassed to even look her straight in the glistening hazel eyes. After all I was a teenage father. But I had to fight that sudden urge to look at her but I couldn't anymore. When I looked her lips were curled into a smile and her eyes on the floor. "In my eyes, your strong" -------❤------- An independent and fierce woman, that goes by the name Elegance Quayla Rubison was born to be blessed with intelligence, beauty, and a hot head. She was making her way to become one of the most famous artist. But when her dream job gets shut down, her last resort was... babysitting. A gentle and kind man, that goes by the name Sir Charleston wasn't blessed with the many qualities Elegance had, but he was handsome and really, really caring. Sir has to raise his dear little daughter, Amara Niara Charleston on his on, because his ex decides to leave him all on his own. When Elegance and Sir keeps crossing paths, she needs a babysitting gig and he needs a babysitter. So its destiny when Sir hires Ellie. As the two get to know each other, they grow clise and notice they have a lot of things in common. Will they fall in love or will Sir reject her to protect his child, at all cost, even his love life?

We all have regrets. We all smile. We all frown. Sometimes all we need is an encouraging word from others or seeing that someone else is also going through pain to understand one's self. In this book which consist of poems, entries, and thoughts there are stones in which no one would consider to glance at but also sees a new way to treasure.
