Being first in line to the throne, Song Xun had gotten used to having a target on his back. Upon his return home from a two year assignment at the northern border, his younger brothers soon realized that their normally studious and quiet brother had suddenly grown up into a calm, yet-capable man. The arrows no longer came close to their mark. The poison tea was left untouched on its tray. And any assassins that were sent to his pavilion were never seen again. Right when they thought that their older brother no longer had any gaps in his armor, a little, fuzzy weakness suddenly showed up one cold rainy day...

Kayla has a secret. She's a shape-shifter. So when her best friend, Sam, has been gone for the whole summer, Kay is happy to reunite with him on their first day of junior year. Though, everything is about to change, and not for the better. Oblivious to Sam's true feelings, Kay meets the new mysterious kid, Elliot, and finds herself in a situation where one wrong move can destroy everything. Slowly, things start to unravel and as Kayla's world flips upside down, she'll have to make the decision of her life. That is, if she lives long enough to make the choice.

But that is about to change, as a witch named Shara has given a prophecy that Orpheo is the key to ending the war, and that Orpheo is far more powerful than any could ever realize... Including Orpheo himself.

Elizabeth Marie DeLuca was born April 25th, 1920. She would always joke 'My birthday is Christmas in April!' excitedly when people would ask. Elizabeth is an only child, and had no family besides her parents in the states, as the rest stayed in Italy when her parents moved to America. She's also very smart. Once Elizabeth reached High School, she skipped two whole grades. This was due to her photographic memory. Because of this, she didn't have many friends. Truthfully, she only had two. This story is about Elizabeth, and how she grows up and realizes her feelings for one of her friends as they go off to war, and what happens after he does leave.

Review

A young girl falls into the snare of an ominous figure, The Shape. As the sinister force of nature relentlessly pursues her, the stakes begin to get higher and higher. A short story based around the Halloween films and Michael Myers. Of course, I own nothing- that all goes to John Carpenter and Debra Hill. This is simply a scenario with The Shape involved.

She didn't know what happened. She was losing it. She craved his mouth, his touch, his tongue, his lips, his eyes, his body, his love, His Control.

As individual human beings we are all scared of different things. Different things scare us because of our differences. However, with our individual scares, we are all frightened of one thing in common... The unknown. Some of us are weary of test results. Some of us are afraid of the future.
