Charlie Wyatt came from the small town of Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Her family was known for their outstanding herd of Black Angus beef cattle and her rodeo skills. When a round bale of hay fell on her Dad in the hay mow, Charlie's life took a dramatic change. The best rehab clinic in the country was in Toronto, so it meant a major life change. Her family reluctantly sold their herd, and farm and made the move across the country. The costs of houses in Toronto were beyond high, but the Wyatt family had no choice. Mr. Wyatt couldn't stand living in an apartment, so a house was bought in a place called Oshawa. Charlie had to leave everything about her former life behind, and start over, which wasn't easy. At High School she met two very different friends who were not in the cool club. Lana who called herself a ''Militant Black Girl'' and Jake, a very intelligent but introverted guy. Charlie would have to work her way through a new school, new rules, and a different way of life. Something not easy to navigate while worrying about her Dad on a daily basis.

This is about two people who are from two different places in the world and they become really close and soon find themselves falling in love and getting married. The man is in the Army and the girl works in a Pub. The man is on his way to being deployed to where the girl lives and that is in Canada..

(This was made for the Shaw Rocket Fund Contest, and they had a word limit, so I couldn't put too much in there. I may return to continue writing this when I have some spare time.
