Based on a Tumblr writing idea: What would happen if a shepherd was also a werewolf? In this story, the wolf isn't just wearing sheep's clothing, he's their shepherd. Lotfi Shepherd is a simple man. He likes walking in the great outdoors, watching his herd of rambunctious sheep as they play in the fields, and living a quiet life of solitude. Somehow he's managed to balance being a shepherd by name and trade with also being a bloodthirsty werewolf when the full moon rises. For fifteen years he's been able to live his ideal life, hunting game in the forests by the grazing fields and only having to return to polite society once a year to shear sheep with his father. Besides the occasional report of howls in the distance, no one has given him or his lupine counterpart a second glance. That is, until a group of adventuring monster hunters takes notice of rumors that a beast has been spotted hunting in the outskirts of the village.

Every night, George the shepherd read murder mysteries to his flock, never realizing they were taking notes. When George is found dead under suspicious circumstances, the humans see a tragedy-but the sheep see a crime scene. Led by the brave ram Hamish and the observant Miss Maple, the flock must use every "Whodunnit" trope they've learned to catch a killer who thinks he's the smartest man in the room. Think you can pull the wool over their eyes? Think again.
