Tiffany's parents, both military personnel, had to leave in a hurry for work. Therefore, the girl was temporarily sent to Hawkins to live with the Wheeler family. Tiffany knew them well when she was younger, often spending her summers with them, so the Wheeler house was not unfamiliar to her. She was a year younger than Nancy Wheeler and had a close, long-standing relationship with her. Karen Wheeler treated Tiffany very warmly, almost like her own daughter, and the rest of the family quickly accepted her back as someone who had always been a part of their lives.

The wolves have eaten all the deer in their forest, so now they must feast upon the sheep in the meadow. Just before the sheep fall in line with the deer, the wooly creatures devise a clever plot to turn the tables. A literal, critical take on society's way of victimizing itself to defend itself.
