Throughout the 1850s and 60s, the world's first and only consultant detective Sherlock Holmes solved London's most notorious criminal investigations and all of his accounts were recorded by his best friend, Dr. John Watson. A good decade or so after the original works were completed, they were rediscovered by the well known Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and published as the famous tales we know and love today.
But what the stories leave out is the tragic fate that befell or heroes. What they never mentioned was that Moriarty wasn't the final frontier, that he was working for a force that rocked him to his dark core. The force of the supernatural.
Now in modern times, our beloved detective still walks the streets of London, still solving crimes, but in the secret of night, and with a burning desire to seek revenge for the organization that ruined his life-- as well as ended it. Now, Sherlock stumbles across the newest descendent of the Watson family, Jim, in the middle of a gang shooting only for it to be stopped by unexplainable actions. Why would someone be targeting a random street gang? And what is Jim's role in all of this?
This story, told from Sherlock's own point of view, introduces the characters once again into the realm of crime and secret organizations as well as the supernatural. Along the way, the pair of crime solvers will make enemies and unexpected allies. And with a society of undead criminal masterminds out to get you, Sherlock and Jim are going to need all the help they can get.
