I am working on developing a longer novel based on this character's daughter. I thought it would be fun to explore the world and his younger years with a shorter story. This world is one of Vikings where Lycans are the descendants of Fenrir and his sons, Skoll and Hati. This story will be somewhat of a rough draft and I welcome feedback!

Like all of us, the recent passing of Sir Ian Holm struck me deeply, and I felt the need to acknowledge that in my own way, with a gentle nod to his portrayal of our dear Uncle Bilbo. A short one-shot taking place within my 'Lament for the Rohirrim' series, wherein we glimpse a few moments that just didn't quite make it into the main story and witness how the adventures of a Hobbit of the Shire touch the life of a girl from Rohan, if only briefly.
