superpowers AU! Laura just turned 16 and is looking foward to her junior year in high school...except her dad has been acting weird lately. All of a sudden he sends her to Silas High, a remote boarding school for unique teens. She has no idea what the hell is going on but goes with it. As soon as she gets there she learns a couple of things. 1) not just birds fly and 2) The school is for teens with superpowers. This is going to be one hell of a ride.

Now, did I missed anything?” I asked, raising my hands in a surrendered position. “Nothing else, miss. 3 dollars.” He said, poking some things in the keyboard. I grabbed my wallet from my pocket, opening it, I grabbed 3 green papers. I placed it on the counter. “Thanks, here’s the receipt. We’ll let you know if the letter is received. Thanks for choosing Mercury Post. Come again soon.” He said with a flat and boring tone. He’s really tired of his job, I can tell. “Yeah, thanks.” I said, walking towards the door. I closed the door, ending with a soft ring of the bell. Letters for James, huh? Let’s see how long I can keep this up. === Natalie Anne George is a simple girl from California.
