This story is loosely based on a d inspired by The Princess and the Goblin by George MacDonald. plot// A young girl named Lyra living with her grandmother in the forest finds a pair of stone shoes in some ancient ruins. She soon learns their magic and were worn by the Queen of a race of friendly Goblins. When the goblins discover her, they make her their new princess and now she must protect the forest from other humans, and meets mythical creatures.

Macey Clark was far from what you would call lucky. Her mom died on her seventh birthday, she dropped out of high school freshman year, and now her aunt is shipping her off to some boarding school across the country away from her few friends. Yes, far from lucky.
