Reedley has spent six years on the graveyard shift at Wooden Thorns Nursing Home and Hospice, where quiet nights and predictable routines make her work bearable. But one Thursday night, the familiar stillness unravels. Staff vanish, technology fails, and an unsettling presence lurks in the hallways. As the hours stretch on, Reedley must face a terror that defies explanation... one that turns life, death, and everything in between into a nightmare.

Follows the story of Ariya; a curious young princess of the kingdom of Nores, in a world where myth is reality, and royalty wears skin of bronze and hair like the pure crystals of the Earth's depths. She is plunged into a monstrous world of the paranormal, of wicked things, and evil secrets older than the span of time. Will her curiosity which led her here be enough to save her? Or will she plunge further into the depths of the grey? They're coming... The Crimson Scythe will come.

The nightmare is a metaphor for his actions and the organisation he worked for. It's a manifestation of the very business that condemned people to suffering. Every time he blinks, the scenes represent new torment as his own mind wants to make him suffer for his condemnation of people as a state security official.
