[ early 2000s backdrop, desi romcom ] when the calendar flipped to 2002... Sandhya was simply too smart, too solvent, and far too qualified for the egos of the local bachelor pool. at twenty-five, she's thriving as a well-paid college professor, but in her mother's orthodox eyes, an un-married daughter with a master's degree might as well be a family tragedy. what follows is an endless parade of self-important suitors who crumble the second they realize a lady earns more than them.

You are going to read this as a story. A man loses someone. He stops sleeping. A woman made of light shows him a hundred worlds where she's still alive, still laughing, still breathing - and in every one of them, he's the one who's missing. You'll tell yourself it's just fiction. A metaphor. A clever structural trick about grief. But somewhere around the part where he asks "have I told you I didn't wake up?" - stop, and ask yourself when the last time was that someone checked on you. Really checked. Not the polite kind of checking. Because some stories are told by people no longer here to correct you if you get the ending wrong. This might be one of them. You won't know until you finish it. And by then, it might already be too late to ask.

[ early 2000s backdrop, desi romcom ] when the calendar flipped to 2005... where a flight attendant mistook a passenger for someone she admires. he realized the mix-up almost instantly. correcting her would've been the right thing to do. unfortunately, he chose entertainment instead.

There's that one person. Talking. And talking. Glancing at you every few seconds like you're supposed to add something. And all you want to do is scream "PLEASE. STOP. TALKING‼️" You can't say that. So what do you do? You find an exit. A smooth one. Something that gets you out without starting World War III. That's why this book exists. I've lived every one of these moments including the time i actually wanted to say "I'm sure whatever i have to say can wait till you're smarter" and didn't. (I still think about it. I probably always will.) Inside: escape lines for every disaster. The bestie who never stops talking. The date so boring i saw a tumbleweed. The five words that ruin every family gathering: "why are you still single?" The man who introduced me to his watch before he asked my name. Even the zombie apocalypse. If you've ever needed to disappear mid-conversation, there's a line here for you. Drop yours in the comments - your "I wish I'd said that" moments are basically my favorite thing to read. Let's build a whole tribe of people who always have an exit ready. Quick housekeeping: everything here is mine, if you spot a copycat, send them my way. And if you catch a typo, tell me nicely. Even escape artists miss things sometimes. Thanks for joining the escape plan. Let's make every awkward moment survivable. 🤗🧡

Inspired by the Twisted series (by Ana Huang) here comes the "Naked Truth" that we go through in our day to day life. This is a series of random thoughts that we often disregard or not pay attention to. It is a set of random feelings portrayed in the form of writings to give you the feel of breeze in a scorching hot day and the feel of warmth in the frosty nights.

Hi I would love to get any direct feedback on the story. I've only done the first few chapters. No solicitations please! Thank you ! 15 chanpters in total wiht part published. When a busy European airport goes silent, the world holds its breath. Commercial jets are grounded. Spotters gather. And then, out of the morning haze, shadows appear-giant aircraft no civilian airport was ever meant to host. In the tower, controllers whisper about doctrine and readiness. On the streets, crowds film history unfolding in real time. Nobody knows why they've come, only that nothing will ever look the same again.

"Become so very free that your whole existence is an act of rebellion." - Albert Camus This is a collection of short stories. I am no writer, nor storyteller, but these events feel remarkable. Important. Absurd. So, I do my best to recount them. They are true in so much as they are my experiences.

A young lady starts receiving mail addressed to another person. A steady descent into madness ensues. I wrote this story to later use as a monologue for a stop motion, which explains why it is short and there aren't many visual markers, since they will be shown through props. Please feel free to review and criticise!

A zombie outbreak occurs, taking away Skye and Jenna's parents. In a moment of despair, Skye contemplates about ending her life. ----- Disclaimer: I don't really know what chromium, nickel and silicon does and if they exist as a compound. Chromesium nicide is purely a name I came up with myself.

This poem was created to tell of a love so new and unexpected it had yet to have a name, and a flower so beautiful and endearing that it would come to symbolize that love. Please enjoy this poem, and tell me anything that it brings to mind. Stories are my life, and I want to hear as many of them as I can and share them with anyone who will listen. Thank you, Persona Story Teller,
