I haven't been seeing much for the Last Kingdom, and there's been some ideas I've had in my mind now, and I wanted to share it with you all. Requests are always welcome!

Haunted by increasingly sexual dreams of Uhtred, King Alfred struggles leading Wessex whilst battling his sinful desires. As rumours of a new Dane force spread, Alfred defies Uhtred's advice and sets off on a journey to protect Mercia's lands, and hopefully find divine guidance. It all goes wrong when Alfred is captured by the new Dane army disguised as holy monks. When Uhtred rides to save him he too is captured. The two men are forced into closeness in an underground dungeon as tensions in Wessex rise, and Aethelflaed, her men, and Uhtred's men are on the hunt to rescue them.
