Sinbad Stories

This is a fan-made sequel inspired by the 2003 DreamWorks Animation film Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. The story imagines a new adventure for Sinbad and his crew after the events of the original movie. If you enjoy the idea, please share your thoughts and help bring attention to this fan concept. After her previous defeat, the goddess Eris is condemned by the Divine Council in Tartarus, led by her father Zeus, to a thousand years of exile, unless she kills Sinbad before his arrival in Fiji to overturn the sentence. Disguised as a survivor named Sirena, she joins Sinbad's final journey, using an enchanted bracelet to hide her identity and manipulate the sailors' minds. Three deadly temptations are imposed on Eris by the gods, of her choosing: a cursed illusory Egyptian canal, an illusory treasure island guarded by Cyclops giants, and enchanted narcotic fruit, threatening the crew. In most cases, Marina and the loyal dog Spike save the crew from these dangers. After failing the three temptations, Eris requests a final appeal from the Council to kill Sinbad after seducing him emotionally. They grant her this right, giving her a dagger and stripping most of her powers. She cannot withdraw, and failure means eternal exile. Marina and Sirena are captured on a primitive island and are later freed by Sinbad using a glider of his own making. After being rescued, Eris regrets continuing her mission, but she cannot turn back. She fuels jealousy between Marina and Sinbad, so Marina leaves the ship. Just before the fatal kiss, Marina returns on another ship after Sirena's deception is revealed to her, shattering the enchanted bracelet herself. Once exposed, Eris stabs Sinbad while he is defending Marina, and he is killed. However, the gods acknowledge Eris's failure, restore Sinbad to life, and the crew arrives safely in Fiji.
