Vox praises her and cares for her, like if she was a real treasure to him. Valentino's very charming and soft, like if she was the only person who he's phisically unable to use. They both never intend to lay their hands on her in order to harm her. But that does not make Marie's after-life with them any good. And her desperate brother is not making it better. Alastor thinks he needs to save his little sister from his enemies, but he isn't really "saving" her. The truth is, Marie feels like each one of them is not good for her. And she's scared of what's coming because of this.
