Troye Sivan Mellet has been starting to throw his name into the music industry. Living in a small town in Minnesota puts some limits on that, however. A couple miles away from his high school there is an old radio station with a hideous green roof; and they're letting Troye run his own block of time. Two hours a night, seven days a week to play music, toss in his own stuff every now and then, talk a bit about nonsense no one but a teenager would care about, and the bonus of having access to high quality equipment. He can use it to work on his own stuff, it's a win-win situation no matter how you look at it. On the other side of things, Tyler Oakley, a bubbly senior having the time of his life with his best friend Korey Kuhl, is finally getting the chance to direct the school's drama performance. He's on cloud nine, but doing the paperwork for it is most certainly boring. Korey suggests listening to music, so he tunes into a local station one night and is immediately hooked.

The first thing you should know about this story is that it doesn't have a happy ending. Some people say that about their own stories and they don't really mean it. But I mean it. This tale does not end well. It tells of faraway people and mystical beasts, but the fantasy of our reality does not make it paradise. This is the story of me and Troye Sivan. Cue Tyler Oakley, his sexy cabin-mate, who is sure to make his summer one he will never forget. Throughout the summer, Troye learns the true meanings of friendship, trust, and perhaps, love.

"No Troye, not again we are not doing this a third time." I said "Ty, c'mon it'll work this time." Troye answered "yeah, until you find another guy and leave me again. this," I say gesturing to the both of us "will never work, I always said it would work if we tried." "It will." Troye grabbed my hand trying to convince me, but I didn't move his touch calmed me "No it won't I was the only one trying to keep us together while you ran off with someone else. Troye you left me. Twice. " I felt tears roll down my cheeks. "I know I left that was my mistake, but I've always come back to you." Troye whispered. "yeah," I choked "and my mistake was letting you back into my life." "We can do this" Troye said "Do you remember when we first got together how we thought we could prove everyone wrong and show them that we could be in a relationship? Remember when we thought we would grow old together and laugh at them for doubting us? We were wrong." I whispered barely audible. "Tyler don't-" Troye started "No, Troye you're young. Go. Live your life and find someone you really love, Sadly that person isn't me, I'm going to leave now please don't follow me because I'm not coming back. I stood up from the bench we were sitting at and I gave him a weak smile. I turned away let go of his touch forever. I walked away I knew I had to let him go. He wasn't worth my tears anymore. He wasn't necessary in my life. Something felt different as I walked away from Troye like a weight was lifted of my shoulders, but I was wrong.

troye has always gotten his way with everything; from school, to driving his friends before legally allowed, to boys. whether it was his good looks or irresistible charm, troye manages to strut through life's obstacles with undeniable ease, while consequently leaving a trail of disasters in his wake. of course, he only does everything for the thrill, so when the shy new boy connor is outed as gay, troye innocently goes after him. and even though connor claims hes 'demiromantic', and pretty much incapable of falling in love, troye is determined to get him wrapped around his finger. unless, he accidentally falls for the new boy in the process.

Based off of 'Gasoline' by Troye Sivan It's not quite a troyler fanfic but there are elements of troyler? Just a soliloquy i suppose of New Year's Eve from Troye's perspective. Also this is my first piece so i don't know if it's actually that good or not so sorry.
