Chłopak pod napływem determinacji prowadzi własne śledztwo, w którym skrzętnie pomaga mu jego kuzynka oraz Daniel, chłopak o barwnym charakterze i drapieżnym uśmiechu. We trójkę stawiają czoła brudnym, zapomnianym przez Boga przeszkodom miasteczka. Z czasem Krzysiu jako jedyny potrafił dojrzeć w Danielu coś, czego Daniel w sobie nienawidził, co chciał w sobie zabić za wszelką cenę. Nowopoznany Krzysiek skrzętnie mu to utrudniał. Jednak należy zabić co innego, niż swoje prawdziwe "ja".
