Between the smell of gasoline and the roar of engines, Jesse is counting down the seconds. He has only an old toy, a personal journal, and a paralyzing fear of bright headlights. But as the days tick by, he realizes that some things can't be fixed with a wrench - and some secrets won't stay in the attic.
