And someone with a time travel ability there fighting sneds them way into the future before he dies as revenge.

As Chuuya investigates, he realizes the string isn't just symbolic-it tightens whenever they're apart for too long and frays when they fight. If it snaps completely, something terrible will happen. But the real problem? The string isn't leading him to Dazai.
