At the age of 16, the given witch or wizard will go through a creature inheritance (if that person has creature blood in their family line). Severus Snape goes through an early (and very painful) creature inheritance, and has trouble finding his mate, or rather, coming to terms with who his mate is. James Potter is having the same trouble with his inheritance.

When Severus Snape comes back for his 6th year at Hogwarts he is mute. That is because of his father's abuse. He gets beat, hit, thrown you name it. Lily teaches him sign language and he manages to survive. James had a great summer, yet when he comes back to school he finds something different in Snape. He doesn't talk, makes weird actions with his hands... Will he do something? Will he step in? Will he keep bullying him? All characters belong to J.K.Rowling. - This book is now up for adoption. Lily is the only one that dies during Voldemort's rampage through the Potter house. Harry is completely unscathed, save for a scar on his forehead, and James is on the brink of death. When he heals a bit, both he and Severus unexpectedly bond over the loss of someone so dear to them.

James wants to spend the winter break with Lily, but she still hates him. A young girl with Hazel eyes and Raven black hair looked at the vile of potion with great disdain. She glared at it like if she does it long enough it would disappear into thin air. "EILEEN HURRY! WE ARE GONNA BE LATE!!" She looked at the direction the where the voice came from and gave out a defeated grunt and sucked the some air into her lungs. She closed her eyes and quickly drank the potion as fast as she can. Slowly her Raven black hair turned honey blonde and her Hazel eyes turned into dark brown. Some of her features slowly changed making her look like an entirely different person. Her eyes closed from the pain caused by the potion, one of the side effects she presumes. After the pain left her she slowly stud up and answered the voice haggardly. "Draco, at this time we are going to be the first people there" and slowly started to follow Draco's trail. Slowly they both walked at the same speed, looking like siblings physically and emotionally. Familial love can be seen coursing in their eyes looking at each other.

Discontinued! . Severus Snape died. But he didn't. He appeared in his own younger body, before Hogwarts. Now he has to survive through it all again. But something is different. And that something changes everything. He will change the future, not only for others but also for himself. Perhaps Severus will learn to enjoy his life a little more, laugh more often, and possibly even find love on the way.
