Shinoa, human, 15, a shy depressed kid, just wants her family issues to go away, but unfortunately heighten, when her parents got into trouble for drunk driving. Luke, around the same age, but alas, not nearly as tall, as his roommate that is oblivious to his presence.(Can't blame her) As the seasons go by, alot of development and loose plot begins to build up, putting dear Shinoa and Luke in situations that are dangerous, awkward or down right cute or horrifying. She turned and stretched forth her hand- she'd been practicing the witch side she'd gotten from her mother- to unveil the door she's kept hidden in her room. Her library- It wasn't technically a library but a space she'd found where whatever she thought came to existence. Hence why she'd filled it with copies of books she'd read over the years long before the war- "Will you come back?" Frost called as she opened the door that stood before before her. She turned and smiled- "Of course brother, this will always be home- we just need to regroup, so we'd win it once and for all." She answered as she pushed it open and walked in taking the door with her

Ah yes, the Island of Sodor... such a beautiful place off the coast of Barrow-In Furness... full of countrysides, hills and valleys, as well as several railway lines that it's most known for of course. Specifically the standard gauge line running from coast to coast known as the North Western Railway, or NWR for short. Home to Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. That was too good of an opportunity to pass up, and yes I am saying this within the story itself. As we all know, Railway operations must keep to tune and schedule, regardless of goods or passengers. Otherwise, there would be nothing but, you guessed it, confusion and delay. Usually it goes smoothly and trains are kept to time and schedule. However, there are a few things that can throw a wrench into that sort of thing. You might of course think of the troublesome truck, which... that's fair, you're not wrong in thinking that. I was just thinking of Mother Nature, specifically winter when she takes a wild gamble whether it snows or not... AND THEN ANOTHER ONE to see how high it can pile up, AND THEN ANOTHER ONE to see how much it'll stick, AND THEN- okay, you get the idea. Though in Sodor's case, and I'm talking about Sodor specifically, there would be one winter in particular that would give the North Western Railway a bit more than snow to deal with, as things would get... a little weird, shall we say? I wanted to explore the question that if Coriolanus Snow could change, what would that look like? In TBOSAS, he's always struggling morally with himself on what's "good/kind/selfless" or "ambitious/reputation/power". So I started a story about it. Very heavy focus on the psychological aspects of who he was in the Capitol, his internal struggles within himself, and how Lucy Gray Baird softens a hard-grown Capitol Boy. P.S. It's slow-burn, but the story really starts picking up in action around Ch. 11-12 after we've established our character & relationship developing.
