Simon Snow and Baz Pitch have been together for a long 20 years. The coven had made Simon and Baz immortal. Simon gets a visiting, and is surprised by the person behind it. He is shocked by the news given. The old enemy appears, leaving Baz drained, and Simon nothing like his old self.

Just the Watford gang being disasters in a group chat. That's it.

It's been three months since the incident at Watford, and life has finally eased back into something normal. Well, as normal as it can be for a vampire, a mage, and a boy with wings and a tail. Simon Snow's life has never been easy, but now it is seemingly worthless. With Baz seemingly avoiding him and Penny swooning over Micah, Simon often finds himself alone with his thoughts, and it isn't a pretty picture. One day, an old foe returns from the grave putting Simon Snow in more danger than ever before. On a quest to end them all, Simon Snow and the Ninth Kiss is a battle for life, love, friendship, loyalty, and justice, that the Mage is convinced can only end one way. With the death of Simon Snow.

Eight weeks into their Eighth year, Baz finally arrives at school, ready to stun Snow with his arrival and then hopefully spend the rest of his school year hanging on to the edge of sanity as he only allows his desires the minor indulgence of watching his arch-nemesis (whom he's secretly in love with) as he unknowingly sleeps. Baz's plans are immediately put to a halt, however, once he returns to find that Simon Snow has been cursed, is chronically ill, and is due to die in less than a week. But breaking the curse is easy - all Baz has to do is admit that he loves the other boy more than anyone else ever will. I have never written one of these before, it's just snowbaz fluff. I'm just going to write one-shots about my favorite burning obsession: the love story of Simon Snow and Baz Grimm-Pitch. You ask me how I know it's an obsession? Because I can write Tyrannus Basilton Grimm-Pitch without skipping a beat, it's a problem. Also! I tried an alternate ending for 5th year. It didn't work out. This is the scene in the forest where Simon sees Baz and Agatha, just before the Humdrum takes Simon and Penelope. I wrote this last year for my english class. We were assigned to read a book of our choosing (and of course I picked Carry On), then write a prequel/epilogue in the author's style. All of the characters in this story belong to Rainbow Rowell.
