We're all aware of why the MSR closed, an opening line having horrid effects on the railway, stocks and mines suffering. That all still happened, sure, but something else had a part in it. A cover-up if you will. This uses some headcanons/theories. Once learned thay the Island was full of something deadly enough to wipe them all out, all methods of escape were blocked off. Its up to those on Sodor if they want to survive.

It was a normal day on Sodor. Molly was taking a passenger train. Little did her and her crew know something was gonna happen that would change there lives...

It's early 2019, and the engines of Sodor are expecting another year of the usual adventures, incidents, and other things that happen on the railway daily... But an auction gone awry in California from last year is about to make this somewhat peaceful island a bit more.... chaotic. (I Don't think anyone has done something like this before, so be prepared for a wild ride. Also, no, it won't have tons of death like other Sodor AUs, just the island and its engines trying to live and work with dinosaurs in their lives now, though that won't mean that characters will get injured in the process of learning.
