As EverRealm Academy is blessed with a new student, and everything seems to be going on just fine, sadly bad news strike. Queen Chiara of the northern Kingdom of Iciclade declares war against Freezenburg, and the reason is Astrid's abdication from the position of heir to the throne. Hildegard knows she can't run away forever, so she, Sofia, Hugo, Karl and Delilah and a mysterious girl called Mara journey throughout Freezenburg to bring a powerful flower to the angry Snow Queen as a white flag. But that's not all. Sofia learns of a powerful ancient threat and needs to make sure that enemy is forever gone, and also everything in the EverRealm is currently changing too.

Sofia is now 18 and the next chapter of her journey as a royal is just beginning. As Sofia adjusts to her new role in her kingdom and comprehends the changes that are happening in her life.
