Nico and his family just moved from New Hampshire to Texas and left everything behind and Nico doesn't understand why because his parents won't talk about it. With the start of a new school, a popular guy named Percy decides to bully him daily but Nico meets this kind person named Will and meets his friends, who ends up being Nico's friends as well. Nico starts to get close to Will, close enough to catch feeling for him. But as the days go on, Nico started getting sick, very sick then, something out of the ordinary happens.

Will was not a warrior, or a front line fighter. He was definitely not the best candidate for a quest. Will hoped he will spend his entire miserable demigod life with no prophecy or quests looming above him. Fates had other plans. On hiatus Will is a normal, everyday, twenty-year old Half-Blood. It's been six years since the giant war and he's settled down, ready to live a relatively normal life with his husband, Nico Di Angelo, and a monster attack only once in awhile. He was wrong about that. It's been two years since the battle of Hogwarts and things seem to be becoming normal again. That is, before they find that Voldemort wasn't the last heir of Slytherin and that he had a grandson. There are a few stories where Voldemort is Percy's grandfather or related to Nico in some way, why not change it up and make Will the grandson? I don't own the books, characters, setting, fanart, well basically anything in this except the plot.

His voice was deadly calm as he spoke, his words chilling the blonde to the bone. "I am far braver than you will ever be. You sit in your golden castle and judge my homeland, but what have you ever done that meant a single thing? You have no idea what it takes to wake up every morning and choose to survive. You cannot understand the things I have sacrificed to stand before you today. I have built wall after wall to keep air in my lungs-carving away parts of myself with each and every breath I take. You were born into a gilded cage, but I was forged from iron. It is not cowardice that makes me wait, it is strength that you could never imagine."

Based on Abby Kate's (@thesleepydm) TikTok Series over Percy Jackson ascending into Godhood. Percy has lately found that every day he has felt less human ever since Nico convinced some of the younger and new campers that Percy was the "Guardian Deity of Camp-Half Blood". He's losing sleep without losing energy. He's slowly stopped eating at all, without any health repercussions. There is no way he could become... a god, like his father. Will he become a god, or will he be able to restore himself to his mortal state? Extra: The book cover is made by me!
