Claire is 24 and has worked as a power systems engineer for the past 3 years at the WWPC. Mave is 25 and has worked as a safety inspector at the WWPC for the last 5 years. Mave and Claire have been friends for the last 2 years and have grown very close. The world wide power company (WWPC) has been in operation for the last 27 years, after its founder descovered a way to transport plasma directly from the sun to the planets surface using a solar extractor. Recently there has been reports of an illness spreading near the solar extractors. Nobody knows the cause, not till Claire stumbles upon something buried deep in the file system. Also a huge thank you to my friends and my partner for helping me gain the confidence and skills I needed to write!

The original idea for this project was to figure out how much land was needed to support a medieval village or a city when worldbuilding and it grew into a whole thing. Please take it and use it as need be. The idea is to build a Self Sufficient/Survival Garden that will meet the basic needs of a single person. I'll expand everything out as I learn and record more. This whole list is based on a temperate zone's climate. For someone living near the equator or in Alaska, this guide will be less useful. Additionally this guide won't take into account things like water consumption, dietary changes, allergies, difficulties in preserving food, dealing with pests, preserving seeds, dealing with thieves, or even soil management. The entire idea of this is to break down what the yield and square footage are given decent conditions. I recommend reading about square foot gardening, companion planting, farmers almanacs and books on perennials when it comes to finding out more information on all of these. I have also done much of these calculations assuming the average backyard. Calculating crop yields per 1000 square feet is convenient to me as the average American yard is roughly just under a quarter acre or 10,000 square feet. If anyone finds any major inaccuracies in this, please submit an edit with a source. https://docs.google.com/document/d/185ce-NgnVqCBpva3R7j6XRnzknZE22mWGJIT6bNkJMg/edit?usp=sharing

In a world where magic married science, fire is conjured by controlling heat and oxygen, water is spelled through pressure and flow, and wind is cast by creating temperature differences that force air to move. Follow Junior-a boy prodigy who can envision techniques he can't execute-and Nirmala-a farmer dismissed for "dirt work" despite extraordinary skill-as they navigate a broken Earth, rebuilding it to its former glory. Knowledge is power. Mastery is earned. Precision is survival. Author's Note: All characters, plot, and world concepts are 100% my original work. AI is used as a tool to verify scientific plausibility and polish prose.

Ava Fae is delighted at the appearance of an alluring new boy at her high school, until she sees the dagger tattoo on the inside of his arm. She knows that tattoo, and it can mean only one thing-either she or the new boy will be dead by the end of the school year. Harnessing the magic of the elements passed down to her through the centuries, Ava works frantically to discover the true intentions of the tattooed stranger. But she is not the only one with mysterious powers and she finds herself thwarted at every turn. Hunter and hunted engage in an intricate game of cat and mouse-unaware that a much larger war is brewing, a war that will be decided by the outcome of their struggle. Ava of the Gaia Book 1 ____ I study how members of the fossil fuel industry and their allies undermine climate narratives in an effort to block government action at every level and confuse and disempower the public. With this knowledge, I have honed my practice as a climate storyteller, creating stories that push back against decades of industry narratives by centering justice, hope, community, agency, and collective action.

exactly what it sounds like. it's a random ass story I'm writing out of sheer boredom and fighting writers block for the stories I'm actually putting effort in. ~~~ One's a werewolf, no not the alpha. The other is something, not human but certainly not a werewolf, that would make too much sense. I'm sure we'll figure out later. This might be a romance, not the mafia type but maybe something close (god I hope not). There's a town in between two forests where the humans live. It's not the best place but it's certainly not a slum. Haven't quite figured out what happened pre-canon. Let me know what you think. It'll be interactive and we can figure it out together :)

A series of three poems that I made. Each one is a "poetic flash-fiction" of sorts that takes an extrapolative look into what an animal might feel as they navigate a changing world. Seen from the perspective of a wolf, an owl, and a snake respectively, this small collection of poetry argues that even the species different from us can still have some thoughts about what is going on in this world we share. They can wonder, feel, and adventure same as we can. Sometimes, just opening up the mind to consider what it may be that these other creatures are doing could be just the avenue we need to discover a fuller version of life. The Venturer is the world to those who are born and die aboard. Earth is distant history, the revolutionary engineers of the great long-travelling starship venerated like gods. The sparse resources of the interstellar reach are shared among the people. Everyone has a place - found through the all-important board games that rule life in a recycled universe. Cassie is a prodigy of the most revered games of all, those that train the Rangers who harvest stray asteroids from near space to feed the Venturer and its people. Against her better judgement, Cassie finds herself on a heroic mission through deadly vacuum, hundreds of kilometres from the life-giving modules of her home. However, nothing in space is as it seems. A shock discovery from beyond the black will thrust Cassie into the heart of a controversy that marks a new age of humanity, and reawakens the long-forgotten stirring of war. The Everlasting takes place in a dystopian future where society is controlled by a totalitarian government that has implanted microchips into the forearms of its citizens. These microchips subtly control the emotions and thoughts of the population, suppressing their ability to truly feel or think for themselves. The chips also leave eerie black veins beneath the skin, a constant reminder of the government's grip on their lives. Ethan, an 18-year-old boy, lives in this oppressive cyberpunk society. Along with his two closest friends-Kayden, a sharp-witted redhead, and Tyler, a fierce and fearless young woman-part of a rebellion that seeks to free society from the government's control. The stakes rise when Ethan's brother is captured, and the government begins hunting down anyone without a microchip. In an attempt to infiltrate the system, Ethan and his friends undergo brutal training to become guards and hunters, discovering along the way the secrets behind the microchips and the dark agenda of the Everlasting Corporation (ELC). Throughout their journey, Ethan meets Amber, his doctor, a young woman tied to the mysteries surrounding the city. As the rebellion unravels more hidden truths, they stumble upon a society beyond their wildest dreams-a solarpunk utopia that contrasts the grim and decaying world they know. They also come face-to-face with interdimensional beings, raising questions about humanity, power, and what lies beyond the fabric of their reality. The story weaves themes of control, liberation, identity, and the fight for free will as Ethan and his friends work to dismantle the ELC and awaken a society long kept in the dark.
