(Art is not mine, credit to Kaz on discord for this lovely art piece) After his parents death Scott finally starts to live with his brother after a year of fighting in court for custody, Scott starts at a new school and finds new friends but now he has balance his grief and his new normal in the school he will meet some new friends and maybe a special someone; he will find living with his brother and his boyfriend hard at the start but starts to grow on it (They don't have much worry for money because of the inheritance from their parents but Scott while in foster care created a website for art commissions that makes a good amount of money) (Tw: death mention, swearing maybe) ( Aside from relationships Irl the others are platonic)

The South was a land spoken of only in hushed voices. It was said its people were cultists; Devoted worshippers of beings that did not belong to their soil, nor their sky, nor even their world. Once every decade, without fail, the South offered tribute. Their youngest were sent away to be turned, bound into service for the unseen powers they claim to call Gods. Those between the ages of fifteen and sixteen were chosen. No exceptions. No mercy. Five were taken in their current generation: Grian, Jimmy, Martyn, BigB, and Pearl. They were told not to resist. Resistance, after all, always bore consequences. And so it proved. Only two of them managed to flee. Martyn and Jimmy. The others were not so fortunate. Grian was beaten into submission, his will shattered before he was forcefully turned. BigB and Pearl followed soon after, claiming the same cruel fate. Above them all loomed the higher beings; the Watchers-the one the South pleads loyalty to-and the Listeners. Ever-present. Ever-seeing. Jimmy is a hybrid more, specific a cat hybrid and unfortunately hybrids in this world get hunted down but what will happen when Jimmy is on deaths doorstep. especially when and against all odds the hot local vampire has fallen head over heals for the cat hybrid...

I feel like when people look at the royals, they think that we have it good. We're rich, have a lot of power, and can do basically anything we want! Well...that's partly true. The one thing we don't have is freedom. Ever since I was born, my future has been set in stone. I was basically guaranteed the role as king, even if I didn't want it. His parents were strict and gave him lessons upon lessons of how to be a proper prince and what fork to use when eating a meal, but none of it really sinked into Joel's mind. And that's mostly because he wanted to do his own thing and learn how to be a knight. What's the fun in being all fancy everyday when you can fight? Grian pressed a button. That's how the shenanigans started. Then he has to learn how to deal with the consequences, and those consequences come in the form of child hermits. Thankfully he's not alone, but he is in a lot of trouble, and he needs to figure out a plan to bring them back to human form, while simultaneously dealing with kids along with the other 7 adult hermits. The school held deep memories of the past. Some people called the school a myth, saying that only a handful of people had actually seen it. But if anyone tried to find it, it would disappear without a trace. Only those who accidentally stumbled upon it would never be able to see it again. The mystery of the school was something that few people knew, and even those who did would tell stories and spread rumours of its existence. In a separate dimension, gods controlled the fates of the people who lived there. The gods were known as The Watchers, who would play a twisted game of murder and betrayal with the mere humans they controlled. The gods were all-powerful and had the authority to create and destroy their own versions of the game, deciding the fate of all those who partook in them. In an alternate universe, a despicable demon named Xornoth had heard of these omnipotent gods who controlled the fates of the mortals in their own twisted world - The Watchers. So, Xornoth, fueled by his selfish desires, dreamt of joining their ranks and wielding their immense power. However, only one person could guide him to that universe to accomplish his goal. Unfortunately, Grian was not a part of Xornoth's universe to begin with, and yet secretly, he was one of the gods, a Watcher in his own right. In a small town, there were five teens, Jimmy, Joel, Lizzie, Grian, and Katherine. They all grew up together in this town and had heard the myth of the school and the watchers, but they never believed in such a story. However, one day, they decided to steal something and decided to try their luck. They ran as fast as they could, but they got cornered inside an alleyway. There was only one way out, so they jumped the wall and found themselves in a school!

anyone who's seen last life, empires, or any form of Joel video knows he always seeks power. would he be able to resist the temptation? would he be able to live with the consequences?

~Scott disappears soon after his brother, the crystal leaving with him, but the last thing he did was merge everything in everyones mind, making everyone think that him and his brother were the same being, making them think he was evil, in hope that they wouldnt follow.~

Love lies within every world and lifetime. Even if said place or time is riddled in misfortune, hatred, war and loss. Some may say it's impossible to find a yearning for someone when the world is nothing but murder and destruction. They never said it was a rule however. It wasn't unethical, and it was certainly achieved.

It's almost Christmas and Scott feels very single and very alone. Cleo tries to be the best wingman they can be, but of course Scott is stubborn. Fortunately for Scott, Lady Luck smiles upon him. And there might just be someone waiting for him underneath the mistletoe. Christmas prompt: "Christmas is so close, I can almost smell the mistletoe I'm never going to get kissed under."

My interpretation of Grian's time with the Watchers. Watchers are really strict when it comes to rules so rule breakers will always get punished, but who needs to break the rules when you can find nice loopholes. Unfortunately, most Watchers don't understand how players work (and don't like loopholes (¬_¬ )).
