Traveling alone didn't seem like a good idea to Coco. Especially since it was leading her away from her boyfriend and towards her mother. But mabye she was wrong. Mabye she can survive her heart breaking in half. A full part left back in New York and a not so full part awaiting her in Antartica.

Three people, each with their own reasons, journey through India's backpacker circuit, only to stumble upon love, friendship, and family. A coming-of-age adventure drama, Hippie Trail takes the reader on a journey across India's famed backpacking circuit, in an exploration of the human need for connection and the unknown. Main characters: Vinay- A gossip columnist who aspires for freedom, and feels that family and personal relations are a hindrance to living life fully. He is ambitious and willing to take risks to be the best in his profession. Gets irritated easily, speaks with little respect for others, is arrogant, and is the perfect alter ego to his best friend Thomas. Thomas: Vinay's college mate and best friend. A calm and serious person who has grown up in a tumultuous family. A part-time cab driver, his father passed away right after his college, making him the sole breadwinner of the family. Miranda: A half German, half Malayalee girl, who is traveling across India to visit the destinations that her parents had journeyed together in their youth. With her parents now getting a divorce, she sees the trail as more than just a path for adventure.

This short story depicts the struggles of a young woman distraught by a recently failed relationship. After days of letting herself sink into sadness and regret she decides that enough is enough and ends up traveling to Jaipur, India, in hopes of bettering herself. She quickly realizes that Life may not be so simple- join her in her journey to find answers as healing through traveling.

Have you ever fantasized about taking a trip to the one place you dream of? I know I have. Did you ever went to your dream place? I haven't...but, I hope to see london in solo style.
