I tried to describe everything as I experienced it, shadows on my book, the soft sounds of birds. Even something mundane like a spiderweb seemed so purposeful and enchanting as it reflected the sunlight. As tranquil as it all was, it had a bittersweet feeling and it somehow felt like it was too late to be appreciating everything - the leaves were falling from the trees and Summer was already saying its goodbyes (or 'see-you-next-years'). "Go to sleep darling till the summer comes again."
