Kylie Reed is 18 and about to start college. She can't decide whether she wants to go all the way across the country to UCLA or USC, or stay home with her ill grandmother. Both of her parents abandoned her when she was 9, and she doesn't know where they went. Part of her wants to find them, and the other half doesn't. "They left me." She keeps telling herself. Even though she has her grandpa and grandma, she still feels unwanted. Will moving be a good idea? Start a new life and leave the past behind? Or will staying and keeping things the same be better? Can Andrew influence her choice?
