Sonic the Hedgehog, a franchise with plenty of debated Eras and even more Continuities, some far more dangerous then others for an isekai victim as human as the egg-headed main antagonist himself with no super-intelligence or cheats or systems to speak of. Just meta-knowledge, lots of it, and by extension, plenty he can do with it. Sonic Films? Fine. Sonic X, Boom, and Prime? Manageable. Gameverse? Dicey, but doable. Archie and Fleetway Comics? No thanks. Sonic SatAM and Underground? Better than dealing with any EXEs, still wouldn't even if his second life depended on it. Shame that he has no choice in the matter. At least he can decide what to do after the fact, make the most of this situation he's stuck in. So what to do then? Join GUN? As if. Go the Chris Thorndyke route? Pass. Babysit the cinnamon roll-haired hologram that got carried along for the ride? Meta supposes that, exploiting plot holes aplenty, and causing chaos for all things canon will have to do.

He snapped when a villain mentioned his deceased sister figure's name and disrespected her, then he killed them because of it, and that got the Jet Black Hedgehog to see himself as too dangerous, so he draws himself back from missions while seeking psychological help from P.E.A.C.E: Protection of Earth Against Catastrophic Events, the successor of G.U.N after the Eggman War. Meanwhile, a threat had occurred which involved with the Chaos Emeralds, then Tikal, a ancient echidna guardian, is released from the Master Emerald, came back as she's here to help. While at that, Shadow eventually got involved as well, even though he tried to stay out. Their paths soon cross, sparking a connection between the two. As Shadow continues his journey of redemption, he must confront the question: Can he find happiness with Tikal, or will he remain distant and alone, burdened by his past?. Another thing, this has some mixes with the SCU, but other than that, I hope you enjoy it. p.s, I don't own Sonic The Hedgehog or the characters, they belong to Sega.
