A Collection of Sonnets

A poem collection with new, fresh poems. The other one was made by 13 year old me so I decided to make a new one!

This was originally just a project for my poetry class, but as time went on I realized that I wanted to share my poetry with more than just my classmates. So here it is: a piece of my mind! My chapbook gives the reader a view inside the mind of a teenager with a creative mind and many problems. Buckle up, grab a bag of popcorn, and enjoy the ride. Cover: Made by yours truly!

A poem collection

I think that I'm a poet. And here I write my thoughts Swirled-- twisted-- Into something you might call "poetry." Incoherent half-ideas pointless pretty rhymes a thought stuck in my head I had to share. It does not always make sense and sometimes I wish it didn't tread lightly, and I hope that I don't disappoint. (Yes, I do know that falls into the "lazy 'free verse' that's actually just normal writing with occasional use of the 'enter' key, but whatever. I hastily wrote it down because I didn't know what to write in the description.)

This genuinely took me hours to write. It took a lot of fucking effort to get the correct meaning and delivery. If only it was simple and life worked out how you wanted it to right? No. Because that's where you grow and learn, feel emotions and know how to deal with them. I hope we meet again, whether in different lifetimes or dimensions (lol) I'm sure it will work out somewhere.
