I saw Cole wave his hand in my face. "OWW." A sharp pain flooded my system, jerking me to the present. I scanned my souroundings and saw her bleeding body. I pulled myself together and reached for my phone I'd dropped. "Nine-one-one, what is the nature of your emergency?" "Yes, I-I found a girl...in an alley...and there's blood." ☆▪︎▪︎▪︎☆ Jade's never been in a relationship, though she'd like to. However fear of rejection, stemming from couple's disinterest, has kept her single. However there's a high class but joyful girl who's been visiting the flower shop. She always peruses the flowers and plants before purchasing her usual bouquet of tulips. Besides hello, the usual, and have a nice day, Jade doesn't dare carry a conversation. It irks Jade that she can't get her tongue to say more. After a month of attempting and failing at speaking, she's resigned to being forever alone. Yet fate must owe her, as an accident occurs that places the girl on a silver platter. Making her Jade's for keeping.

She was a normal girl, ordinary, however you'd describe a girl who had powers in a world where more than three quarters of the population had some sort of superpower. She never turned away an animal in need, so when a wild tiger shows up in her backyard, injured, she bandages him up and tells him to stay. Unbeknownst to her, the tiger was actually Connor Wild, Lightsville High's hottie soccer player. What does he do in return, he asks her to join his team, no not his soccer team, his Hero team. A tale of superpower teens on a mission to save the city from a series of mutated animal attacks. Three headed dears, giant snakes and gang members, what's next? Shadow horses? Can they stop the villain behind all this madness? He ran his fingers around my neck carefully as if I'm about to break any second from now. "If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you." he mumbled. With his hands on my neck, he pulled me closer and gave me a peck on my lips. It was short yet unforgettable. It seemed like he was afraid of me breaking apart. Something about his attention made me feel special. Important. No queen on any throne would feel as important as I am. And most importantly, I sensed that he cherishes me.

This story is centered around Iris, a funny, smart, creative, and fat teenager. Iris has gone her whole life laying low. She's never been on a date, gone to a party, or had more than 3 friends. But I want to be clear, she's not bullied. In fact people like her! They say she's chill and fun to be around! But they don't talk to her, unless she's the last option. Every boy she's ever liked, has never even considered her cute or liked her back. So she has officially given up on romance, trying to please people, getting more friends, and last but not least losing weight. "Fuck you Society".
